I like to have little get together's in my home - sometimes with family and friends, other times with those wanting to learn more about essential oils. This is one of my go to recipes for any such occasion.  It's super cheap and simple to buy some fruit and whip up a batch of dip.  Plus, everyone always wants the recipe at the end of class.  So here it is!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (less or more for your sweet tooth)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5-8 drops wild orange essential oil*
*If you want to change it up a bit, try some different oils - we've done lemon, lime or grapefruit.  Just make sure the oils you are using are safe for internal consumption, most on the market are not.  If you would like to know what oil brand I trust, contact me here.

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a medium size bowl and whip it up with a stand mixer.
It's that simple - enjoy!
IF you have left overs, which is highly unlikely, tomorrow morning for breakfast you can use the dip in crepes, drizzled with blueberry or blackberry compote.  It's so delicious!
